Seasonality is one of the many considerations when improving existing or developing new visitor catering for parks and open spaces. Through our work we have developed operating strategies to effectively manage seasonality. Often interrelated initiatives, these typically include determining the appropriate type and number of catering outlets, governance and resourcing considerations as well as food production guidance.
