Hatfield House

The Royal Palace of Hatfield (c1485) in the West Garden is where Elizabeth I spent most of her childhood. An oak tree in the park marks the place where the young princess Elizabeth first heard of her accession to the throne.

The Park is the home to a number of recurring and new events each year including Battle Proms, Slam Dunk and Classic Ibiza as well as hosting concerts by international artists along unique seasonal events. There are also three woodland walks of varying length and a stunning lake.

Hatfield House has three main venues for weddings, meeting, conference and events and private parties – The Old Palace, Riding School and Church House. In addition, the main House can be hired for distinguished events.

The beautiful Stable Yard, accessible to the public all year round, includes a range of unique shops offering beautifully designed gifts, jewellery, clothes and apparel. The Coach House Kitchen provides an all day offer, including excellent lunches, in a fitting setting with outside seats in the stunning Stable Yard.

We have supported Hatfield House with a Food & Beverage Critical Analysis and Options Appraisal across the Coach House Kitchen, events and hospitality as well as identifying wider opportunities across the estate. We are retained to support with on-going strategic and operational advice, monitoring and development.
