Southwell Minster

About Southwell Minster

The Cathedral and Parish Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary is popularly known as ‘Southwell Minster’ and renowned for its pepperpot spires. Southwell Minster became the Cathedral Church of the Diocese in 1884, although the historic name, Southwell Minster is still used.

The Minster Refectory is adjacent to the Minster Shop, located within a purpose-built visitor centre, set within the stunning grounds and a backdrop of the Cathedral. The Refectory, along with events and hospitality, is outsourced to a third party caterer.
