Octagon Theatre Bolton, situated in the heart of Bolton “aim to be bold, adventurous and popular, making theatre of the highest quality and to be a brilliant creative home for the people of Bolton and beyond”.

The new food and bar facilities at Octagon Theatre Bolton comprising Octagon Kitchen & Bar across the ground and first floor, opened in conjunction with the reopening of the redeveloped building following completion of the capital development works in May 2021. However, since opening mid-COVID-19 the Kitchen & Bar had not had the opportunity to fulfil its potential.

To support Octagon Theatre Bolton Kitchen & Bar to fully benefit from food and drink opportunities from both audiences and the wider community Montfort Consultants undertook a Food & Beverage Critical Analysis to realign the operation to further enhance the visitor experience and commercial return. The recommendations were well received and their implementation has supported the theatre’s objectives.
