Ludlow Assembly Rooms

Ludlow Assembly Rooms (LAR) is an independent charity providing a mixed arts programme and community centre for the population of Ludlow and surrounding areas.

LAR’s mission is to be a leading arts, entertainment and community centre, renowned for its diverse and stimulating programme, friendly atmosphere and accessible to all. The artistic programme at LAR includes a wide range of live performances, films, live streaming and workshops.

Montfort Catering Consultants have supported LAR since 2013 with advice and support in relation to determining the most appropriate future concept for the café bar along with business planning and detailed financial projections. As part of our catering consultant services we also undertook a full catering tender exercise for Ludlow Assembly Rooms to identify a contemporary catering partner able to support in the further growth and development of this fantastic venue. Our approach encouraged interest from a number of local and regional commercial operators, with the selected partner an established regional operator with three successful high street cafes.

In conjunction with our design partner we have also provided conceptual, schematic and detailed design advice and planning detail.
