Ledbury Listed Buildings

Ledbury Civic Society secured a social investment business grant for a feasibility study into the asset transfer of a number of major high profile buildings in Ledbury including:

• Market House
• Ledbury Town Council Offices
• Ledbury Heritage Centre
• Butcher Row House Museum
• Public Toilets
• Burgage Hall
• Barrett Browning Institute

The driving force for the project, one of five pilot schemes across the UK, was to more effectively utilise the buildings for community use while collectively being financially sustainable.

Working in conjunction with The Architectural Heritage Foundation and on behalf of Ledbury Civic Society, Montfort Consultants undertook a review of the aforementioned buildings to determine the scope for them to be developed into catering operations including cafes and restaurants.
