LCR Property – RTC Business Park

LCR’s skills in commercial development, placemaking and asset management have delivered some of the UK’s most significant regeneration schemes, including the St Pancras International and Kings Cross station redevelopment and the masterplanning of the metroline centre at Stratford City.

RTC Business Park offers 370,000 sq ft of flexible accommodation located over 28 acres of landscaped grounds. The park includes a large café which provides breakfasts, lunches and all day sandwiches, snacks and beverages. Conference and meeting rooms are also available to tenants along with conference catering.

On behalf of LCR Property, Montfort Catering Consultancy undertook an operational, financial and contractual review of the park’s café along with benchmarking performance and recommendations. Following this we undertook an informal market engagement/ ‘soft-market’ test to determine interest and discuss further opportunities with alternative catering organisations. This led to a full catering tender resulting in the appointment of a new caterer providing a more closely aligned food and service offer as well as improved commercials.
