Bar & Catering Business Plan Review & Café Bar Tender – Stephenson Memorial Hall

Montfort Catering Consultants are delighted to be providing specialist catering, bars and hospitality consultancy services to Chesterfield Borough Council in relation to the development of Stephenson Memorial Hall.

Stephenson Memorial Hall is currently undergoing an £19 million renovation and remodelling of the Pomegranate Theatre, with a reconfigured modern museum experience, housed in the Grade II listed building on Corporation Street, Chesterfield. Around £11 million of the funding has been provided by a Levelling Up Fund grant.

The multi-million pound refurbishment of Chesterfield’s Theatre and Museum will create a state-of-the-art cultural venue. In addition, there will be education and community facilities. The plans include three new lifts that will significantly improve the accessibility of the building for visitors, artists and employees.

The ground floor will be the stunning central setting for the new Café Bar, surrounded by original stained glass windows, wooden panelling and museum objects. The location will also accommodate a retail space.
