Catering Feasibility Study – Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral

Montfort Catering Consultants are delighted to be part of the development team working with Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral undertaking a catering feasibility for the new Visitor Centre.

Buttress have been commissioned by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool to design a new Visitor Centre for the iconic Grade II* listed Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King (Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral) on the previous Visitor Centre site.

Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral is the largest Catholic Cathedral in England. Its unique architecture and spiritual atmosphere contribute to a strong sense of place.

Montfort Catering Consultant’s scope in support of the new Welcome Centre development includes determining conceptual options and recommendations for the new food and drink operation, along with business planning and determining the most appropriate approach as to how catering is managed in the future. Our approach ensures an alignment to the Cathedral’s strategic priorities for renewal and conservation, to transform its physical space into a world-class visitor venue, while maintaining its position as a central place of worship within the community.
