Montfort Catering Consultants are working with Hastings Contemporary to identify a future café operator able to provide a high-quality food and drink offer to include the unique café location.

Hastings Contemporary brings world-class modern and contemporary art to a spectacular coastal setting. The gallery welcomes everybody, and through their exhibitions and activities  aim to enrich lives by offering new experiences, supporting creativity and helping the town to thrive.

Housed in an iconic building on the seashore, nestled between Victorian net huts, funiculars and Europe’s largest beach-launched fishing fleet, the café benefits from unparalleled views of the Sussex coastline. It enhances their welcoming visitor experience and contributes funds to their charity.

While the key focus for the initial requirement is to develop a long-term partnership with a compatible operator for the café, we are also supporting Hastings Contemporary with the development of a partner/s to provide

• Supper clubs.
• Provision of hospitality services for events, conference and meetings.
• Seasonal evening bar offer.
• Mobile coffee offer.
