Art Centre Café & Catering Advice – Corn Exchange Newbury

Montfort Catering Consultants have been supporting Corn Exchange Newbury with catering consultancy advice for their busy café and bar operation. This has included a full catering operational and financial review along with determining required changes to more closely align the food and drink operations to potential opportunities – creating a culturally sympathetic and commercially sustainable destination café and bar operation.

Corn Exchange Newbury includes a 400 seat auditorium, a 40 seat independent cinema, a Café Bar on the ground floor and Balcony Bar on the first floor. Corn Exchange Trust also manage 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space for the development of large-scale outdoor performances and residencies, and a Learning Centre with a participant programme.

The ground floor foyer accommodates a Café Bar offer, adjacent to the box office. The Balcony Bar on the first floor is currently used for additional bar service as well as further seating for the Café Bar, with additional outside seating available in the Market Place.
