Theatre Catering Tender – Theatre by the Lake

Theatre by the Lake is inviting expressions of interest from entrepreneurial individuals and organisations with a view to a partnership able to capitalise on the £1m plus food and drink opportunities within this unique high footfall location (approx. 1 million visitors per month and c120k pa historic theatre visitors).

Situated on the shores of Derwentwater, in the heart of the Lake District, Theatre by the Lake is one of the most beautifully situated theatres in the world as well as being a creative hub for the communities of Cumbria and beyond.

Food and drink operations include:

• Lakeside Café (opened 2016) – a standalone café, adjacent to Derwentwater and the busy visitor footfall, with circa 80 – 100 internal covers as well as external landscaped terrace plus take-away Terrace Kiosk.
• Theatre Café & Bars.

Consideration will be given to proposals expressing interest in all food and drink services as well as alternative management arrangements.
