Montfort Catering Consultants have recently undertaken a catering feasibility study for The Salvation Army’s new Territorial Headquarters in Denmark Hill.

The Salvation Army UK Territorial Headquarters is moving from Elephant & Castle to a new site on the grounds of William Booth Training College, Denmark Hill, with a completion date for the development scheduled for the fourth quarter in 2021.

The new building will include a café, located on the ground floor, adjacent to the building’s main reception. The new café will be both a workplace catering facility for staff/ building occupants as well open to the public.

Montfort Catering Consultants have been supporting The Salvation Army undertake a café feasibility study to determine the future requirements for the café and wider catering facilities within their new UK Territorial Headquarters.

Our catering consultancy support and advice has also included developing the operational concept as well as developing the employee and general public demand and associated business case. Given the prominent location adjacent to Denmark Hill Railway Station and the high levels of commuter footfall we have also supported in determining the most appropriate management model to optimise the commercial potential while ensuring that the catering is culturally sympathetic and customer centric
