Museum Visitor Catering Feasibility Study – Catering Consultant Advice – Horniman Museum & Gardens

Montfort Catering Consultants have recently undertaken a café and visitor catering feasibility study on behalf of the Horniman Museum & Gardens to support their proposed vision for the future Museum and Gardens.

Lead designers Studio Egret West have developed concept options and a vision for the future Horniman Museum & Gardens. Initial conceptual proposals include a flexible framework to address the likely future requirements of the Horniman’s ever-increasing visitor numbers. These include a New Garden Arrival Square; Spacious Reception and Improved Facilities; Reorganised and Reimagined Museum Spaces; Nature Zone and Kindercafe; Stepping Gardens and Horticultural Hub & Winter Gardens.

Our catering consultancy advice to the Museum, supporting the ‘Future Framework for the Horniman’ vision has included undertaking a feasibility study and developing the future food and beverage proposals for the Museum. This has involved an analysis and interpretation of the market along with determining future needs; demand and business model planning as well as defining café and wider food and beverage opportunities to be considered for investment.
