Middlesbrough Town Hall – Restoration & Redevelopment

Middlesbrough Council is currently delivering an £8 million capital scheme to restore and redevelop Middlesbrough Town Hall as a vibrant cultural and heritage hub for Middlesbrough and the wider Tees Valley.

The plans include the restoration of the Carriageway with original glass roof which will become the main box office and circulation area, the development of new café and bar facilities, and a new community space.

Montfort Catering Consultants’ initial involvement included undertaking the catering and bars feasibility study and business plan development in relation to the capital development. We are currently further supporting Middlesbrough Town Hall with a market engagement exercise to determine the most appropriate management model for the new proposed café and bars within a redeveloped Middlesbrough Town Hall.
